From a chemist:
Hydroflouric acid is about as nasty as things get. It attacks the nerves by binding Calcium so you don't even notice the damage, can turn flesh to essentially stone. It is used to etch glass and dissolve rocks.

Chlorine and ammonia are listed on bottles as do not mix for cleaning, as stated forms chlorine gas and other nasties like chloro-amines and hydrazine both toxic.

Mixing a strong acid like nitric acid with a base like ammonia can generate enough heat to boil the results and cause a mini-explosion with you in the path.

I suspect that getting nitric or hydroflouric acid would be hard in today's world thankfully. But like the others there are many things readily available that should never be mixed.

I need a spray that will dry on glass and be invisible to the camera that will allow sticky items to flow off of the glass. Every thing I have looked at so far either is seen by the camera, will allow sticky globs of paper attached to an item to stick to the glass, or just doesn't let items slide off to the side easily.

I’ve seen an ad on YouTube for a spray for use on a car to produce a super slick surface that will keep dust and grime from adhering to the the cars finish. Google “spray that makes car finish super slick”. There are several to choose from.

Cars are in general opaque items. The OP was interested in glass specifically, although we don't know why.

Had my car detailed for the first time. It is now so slick, nothing will stay on it. Don't know how long it will last. So...... My thought is a wax for glass, maybe even a car wax.

The product as demonstrated didn’t alter the color of the painted surface, implying that it is transparent.

Car wax. Not cleaner polish. I use on car windows. And my sun glasses.
Rain flows right off.

The so called spray doesn't work as good and last long enough. It's a quick fix.

As a chemistry major I would be a bit carful with that - ammonia will tend to react violently with the acids, and the chlorine bleach could evolve chlorine

Hope the OP realizes that’s not a cool mixture. Acid, base and Cl2 mixture could be deadly.

Have any you ever tried to get Rainx off a windshield after a year or more of use?
