This is the most sane reply. What is good for Nikon and Canon owners is also good for Sony shooters. Upping the ante so that their next product release has to be a real improvement to stay competitive. Nikon and Canon have so many more users out there with outdated cameras than Sony. It is easier for them to maintain market share because of that. Sony now has pressure to make improvements for their next body that will up the ante again. I for one love watching this competitive environment!

When I eventually purchase my Z8, it will have very little to do with the autofocus system. It will be all about the control layout and operating system.
