Wonderful sense of place. A scene I'd love to encounter and photograph.

Sorry I disagree and did not agree to any critiqueing of my photos, and request that you do not do this again as you cut my watermark off of the image... what gall.

Here maybe you should read the rules again: https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-426-1.html

Love it. You timed the composition just right. The fog line lets the scene jump right out at you, otherwise I feel it would have blended into the background.

There was not “too much negative space in your image! Montana IS all about the space! Stand anywhere and scan the horizon and look up; whadda ya’ see? LOTSA SKY! BIG SKY! So big in fact they even named it the Big Sky Country. I knew a guy who took his kid to an ice skating competition in Montana and he took a series of pictures in a 360 degree panorama from an observation deck at the airport and spliced them all together and posted the panorama at our local rink with annotations that said “nothing here; nothing here either… “ He imaged about 8 feet of running length of horizon and sky featuring wide open spaces.
I think your photo captured the essence of why people live in Montana in the first place😎👍 Kudos, Great capture!
