He was 50-something back then.

Here’s a great one… the late Jeff Beck, a very young Tal Wilkenfeld on bass, and Buddy Guy.
https://youtu.be/HKKzAVbiwPsOh, and that is Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, with Jason Rebello on keyboards. This was Jeff’s best lineup, IMHO.

I mentioned in Mark’s post that I had seen him a couple of times in Philadelphia. If you like The Blues you will enjoy Buddy Guy.
That's where I saw him when I was at Villanova. The Buddy Guy Blues Band was the opening act at the first Quaker City Rock Festival at the Spectrum (1968 or 1969).
It was a 7-1/2 hour show that also featured Moby Grape, Vanilla Fudge, Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company and the Chambers Brothers.
I was nearly trampled when I was at a concession stand and the guitar intro for Piece of My Heart started and everyone ran for their seats.
If he's 86 now he must have been 30 or 31 back then.
I’ve seen him many times. You will enjoy. Watch his hands you will be amazed with what he he does with that polka dot guitar.

All guitar players amaze me.
First saw Buddy Guy when I was barely out of my teens. Seen him many times since. Enjoy!

And here I am in my old age, hearing about him for the first time.
