Take two guns and plenty of ammo! Battery chargers, extra batteries, lots of memory cards KEPT IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. Take a photo vest with plenty of pockets. Have a great time!!
I always take two cameras on every trip.

Thank you sir!
I have a MS Surface to download pics taken during the day and will need that to do other work as well - so no need to take additional SD cards. In addition have 1 additional battery for each camera.
I feel better taking both cameras.
Thank you for your advice!
Ken
Take a spare SD card. I was on a workshop last week, and one of the participants experienced a card failure, as unusual as that is. I had to lend her one of my spare cards so she could keep shooting, as the group was about three miles from our van.
A side note. Check out Airalo eSIMS for your phone. One in India is $11 for 3gb for 30 days. I just returned from India. Invaluable. Your phone will get data and if set up correctly will do texting, internet phone calls and of course access the web anywhere you are at in India. No need to buy a SIM while there. Great for hailing an UBER ride or finding rate so when you “haggle” taxi or tuktuk you’ll know what is a fair price. Most places are on WhatsApp so I would highly recommend you put it on your phone and learn how to use it. I have been using Airalo for several years now. Once I discovered eSIMS, WhatsApp and VIBER (another more user friendly VOIP app) commutation while traveling became much easier.
With both WhatsApp and VIBER, you can call anyone, anywhere in the world for free if they also have the app in their phone. You don’t even need a SIM, just put your phone in airplane and use whatever wifi connection you have at hotel or wherever you’re at.
