Given the limited choices of relevant film-era zoom lenses, your memories of accomplishments past are likely more vivid than accurate ...

No Paul, my memories are accurate and I still have two SLR manual focus zooms for my Canon F1 SLR.

Don't assume you know ANYTHING about my extensive career and what gear I used professionally, because you dont know anything Paul. And you know what they say assuming makes out of you, LOL.

Cheers and best to you.

Why don't you go polish your trophies or image litter elsewhere. Stop shaking your pacifier at me.

Dude. I expressed my own experiences about using a specific lens type. And yet, here you are with your pacifier and all your oafish glory telling me how unhard it is to accomplish. If this was your glorious FB group you lord over, would this be accepted by that powerful Lord and Master?

Perhaps Paul needs to find a good therapist. Sometimes he comes across as just plain abusive rather than just sarcastic.

More example that you still cant take anyone but yourself being an expert on ANYTHING. And you cant accept anyone else's legitimate experience and knowledge if it doesn't agree with yours. So Sad.

You are free to have the last word as always on this. I wont answer you back again on this topic of MY professional experiences over the past 50+ years, not yours.

Hard to believe this all started with an innocent question about a zoom lens from Sigma that there is no information about. Sigma never responded, KEH cannot find anything, the Facebook Canon FD group knows nothing about it, and there was skepticism that it was Sigma and 40mm at the low end. I thank everyone for responding with help or attempting to help--I really appreciate it. I assume as the originator of the post I can also delete it? If so, I'll let my thanks remain for a day and then take down the thread.

Hard to believe this all started with an innocent ... (show quote)

There's no 'delete' action in UHH. You can request ADMIN to delete duplicate threads, but only offensive topics ever merit complete removal by ADMIN.
