Just to avoid any confusion, this a ('09 ?) later model Vette with all of it's amenities (which make for a more comfortable and faster ride) is made to look like a classic '62 Corvette. If you care to investigate further there are plenty of articles about it. They've even been featured in car magazines. The best of both worlds. The look of a '62 and the power and comfort of a later model Corvette. If you ever see one in person you can tell because it will have the appearance of a '62 but it's a larger car.

Thanks for viewing, commenting and the education Ray. It indeed was a very nice vehicle.

That's the way a 62 should look and perform. A 62 is the only Vette I've ever owned and at the time wasn't smart enough to keep it.

We all have our regrets alberio. At least you enjoyed yours for awhile. Glad you liked the set.

Great job of grafting a 62 body on an 09 chassis and the whole hood lifting like a E Type Jag, it looks great, great series, Don.

Appreciate the compliment Earnest. It was a great looking car!

Wonder how many hours were needed to build this car. The front assembly is a great touch, IMHO. This body on a new chassis is the epitome for many of us from that time. To drive, or to show? If ever I wanted a hangar queen she would be this.

That makes two of us David. Would want to drive it and preserve it at the same time. Tough choice. Thanks for commenting.

More like a 1962 Vette with a hefty engine swap.

Definitely not a 2009!

Please see page 1 of this post Phil. See the explanation from Ava's Papa (Ray). This is a 2009 with modifications to make it look like a 1962 Vette.
Thanks for commenting.
