We attended the Civil War Days at the Mahon Ranch in Elk Grove, CA. It was well planned out and they put on quite a show. Plenty of seating, food, drink, etc. They provided a hayride that took you from the encampments to the battleground. We met a lot of nice people, learned a lot and had a fun day.

Mice photos! I thought Abe was assassinated more than 150 years ago, but there he was! It must have been a fun and interesting event.

This was taken over 20 years ago in Petersburg Battlefield, VA on slide film—manual focus. I had to wait for several weeks for the path to dry out. The noon event placed the sun behind the riders and hoped that they had their eyes opened when I fired.
