Lot of talent there, Jack. I love the Corsair. The Corsair is my favorite WWII warbird.
Hard choice there between the F4U Corsair, P 38 Lightning and the P 51 Mustang. My family had friends that flew each of them. Then there was my Uncle who flew 36 missions over occupied France and Germany before the 20 mission limit. Crash landed twice, fortunately both time in England
You have an amazing neighbor - mine are just noisy.

I think I will keep my mouth shut on this one.
Not as easy as it sounds, Jack. Of course, I wasn't sick, starving, wounded etc... But I thought it was a way to show respect for those who lived through it. And those who didn't. Sixty three miles through heat, humidity, bugs, very little or no water to drink.
The local Philippinos threw food and water out to them from their huts, along the way, when they thought they could get away with it. But the Japanese would punish them if they were caught.
BTW, my Dad was a Navy Frogman (early form of the SEALS) in the Pacific in WWII. He wouldn't allow rice in the house when we were growing up. And wouldn't allow a Japanese built car to sit in his driveway. He/we would celebrate the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki every year when we were kids!
Great photos of the results of your neighbors talent...especially his garden set!!
