Hello singleviking, I think we have an issue with semantics here, a hospital for me is a place where people are cared for and nursed to health. I think if you visited our
hospitals A&E ward you would see it as an emergency service, e.g. if saving someone who is near to death following a road accident isn't an Emergency then I dont know what is.(yes I am aware that this was a private hospital)
Secondly I am not suggesting for a moment that the Djs should be charged with a crime. I would rather that they and many others think of the possible consequence of their actions before hand and realise where a prank is inappropriate. regards..
Hello singleviking, I think we have an issue with ... (
show quote)
This hospital was a private physicians hospital and has no A&E wards at all. Only private surgeries, operations, and private practice and all by appointment with a private doctor. It is not part of your public hospital system. My comment about the radio issue was that the owners and legal staff of that radio station were made aware of this prank even before it was implemented and therefore, I blame them for insensitivity and possible legal liability and prosecution. Also, like I said before, the listening public must take some responcibility for this travesty. I personally don't listen to such drivel during my mornings or Howard Sterns or any of the other rediculous talk shows, nor do I really care about who is doing what to whom in Hollywood or the RAP music scene either. All of these type of shows only perpetrate the popperazzi and the scandal sheets. Seems everyone these days enjoys hearing or seeing the downfall of others or the publication of their shortcomings. Hogwash to all of it.
