Great set! Your efforts at subduing backgrounds have paid off!
Thanks, Tim, I having been working on this and I am happy that it is noticeable.

My issue is reducing things too much. My bird images, taken "in the wild" need placement IMHO. Removing too much background creates an artificial look that I do not like.
I do most background prep in LR.
I appreciate your thumbs up.
I'm sorry if I've offended anyone or taken away from an individual's original post by adding images of my own to this thread, or for that matter, some of the other threads where I've done the same thing. I was not aware, until just a moment ago, that I was supposed to first ask permission to contribute images to a thread which was not my own. Again, if I've somehow offended anyone or broken one of the cardinal rules, please accept my apology.
And for the record, if anyone wishes to contribute some of your own images to any of my own threads, please feel free, knowing that I would never not give permission to do so, if I had been asked.

Beautiful tulips and lovely set Mike, especially like #3 and the last one.

Thanks, Sylvia, I prefer the isolated bud or flower with a good background. I just do not always achieve this (LOL).
Beautiful shots Mike. I like them all!
Nice set Mike. I really like the first 3 for the light and composition.

Very nice Mike!! Glad to see them and a great set! 2, 3 and 5 really stood out to me.
UTMike, these are great shots of tulips. I love the color in them. Bright and cheery as spring itself.

Thanks, Vince, the high wind made shooting very challenging.

Thanks, Rob, the results were better than I expected given the conditions.
