Two years for a misdemeanor and five years for a felony. The initial charge was a misdemeanor. The NY DA is desperately trying to twist it into a felony. The funny thing is that he is trying to make the felony about Election Fraud which is a Federal statute which, of course, he has no authority to prosecute. This same felony charge the DOJ looked at and passed on!

Well actually little pussified boo hoo I got no fat lips while as a correctional officer in a state prison. That would include death row, administrative segregation, the most violent of the male offenders in the system and the
women's prison, also maximum security. All of this even though I was an instructor of forced cell entry and took my place on many forced cell entries at both facilities. For me the key was something I learned from my parents; treat everyone with respect and usually that respect will come back to you.
