From my experience, B&H embodies the type of business practices that distinguish it as an exemplary organization. Others should study and replicate the B&H philosophy and business model.
I have always had a great experience with B&H. I used to run the Long Island Photography Meetup. We had 260 members and would go shooting 2-4 times a month. B&H was a great supporter, giving us donations for our annual dinner, even sending someone to give the donation to the winner.
They also did a few programs for our group.
I find I will call, ask questions about different things, they are always great about giving out the information, whether I buy something or not.

For those of you who purchase items from B&H:
Exactly one month ago I purchased an Olympus 8-25 Pro lens from B&H for $1099. The item arrived quickly, perfectly packed, etc. A fantastic lens.
Today, I learned that Oly (and subsequently B&H) had the lens on sale for $899. I sent a simple email inquiry to B&H and was credited with the difference...within 10 minutes of contacting them. Excellent service.
For your information.
VBR,
Thanks for sharing your good experience. Recently I bought a lightly used Canon R5 with RF 24-105 L lens (both were immaculate 9+) from B&H, but when I received it, I was disappointed that neither a battery nor the Canon IFC-100U Interface Cable were included. I sent them a note informing them that these items were missing (the ad didn't say anything about a battery or cable, but I guess I assumed it would have all the accessories). The battery is a $79 item and the original Canon cable is $49, so that would have been an additional ~$130 expenditure for me.
The next day I got an email from B&H with the tracking number for a brand new LP-E6NH battery and the OEM Canon cable. The little rinky-dink cable holder was also missing but they told me they didn't have any of those in stock so I found one on EBay for just a few dollars. I had the new battery and cable in hand within two days, no charge.
I was a happy camper.

VBR,
The only place I buy my stuff!
A few years ago, when I finally got the cash to get a Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 for a D850, I ordered from B&H. Less than a month after, Nikon put that lens on sale, $300 less than I paid. I called B&H, gave them the order info and they gave me an in store credit. That is how I got the XQD card for the D850. No hassle at all from B&H.
Long time B&H customer
[Audio Equipment] recent B&H CAMERA customer. Great service, Sudden shipping and THE BEST customer service on returns!
Since you have a month to return equipment to B&H, they will adjust prices for that month.

Thanks for taking the time to say so. This is very gratifying and a pleasure to read, as are quite a few other comments in this thread. Thanks to one and all.

VBR,
Good will gestures like that turn one-off customers into long term clients.

VBR,
I had the same experience with Roberts Camera and a D750. In both cases, the sellers realized that the cameras could simply be returned, refunded, and reordered.
