I enjoyed your images of fresh snow and all of the strong shadows of the trees. I kept wondering if you were on ski's, or snowshoes?

Thank you, Wanda! Actually, no, I was not on skis or snowshoes although it looked as if someone had been there before me on snowshoes. It is listed as both a hiking and snowshoeing trail in winter. I had on crampons and used hiking poles, which were a must, as the trail was somewhat treacherous in places, especially coming down, with the fresh snow and steep incline.
