If you are a photographic artist, you should be very worried. I think that photographic artists will have a hard time competing with AI generated or modified images. While artistic vision is still important, the craft required is going to be significantly impacted.

Anything goes in art, any medium, any alterations, any AI too.
Photojournalism has ethical standards about photographing and changing reality, so top photojournalism contests now require the winning entrants to supply the unaltered raw file along with the submitted entry in order for the judges to certify there was no reality changed by AI, or PS alterations including replaced skies and layers. I am not sure what art photo contests do nowadays with all the post processing and AI. They likely allow much of it.
