thanx for ye reply.. been to everyone except antelope... which was a possibility.. but after reading some reviews saying that its a 10 - 15 minute walk (in which you are hurried through) for what i saw about $100.. and saying its not really worth it.. but still not off the list offially if I dont go to yosemite
Sorry, just not my experience on multiple trips there.
Lower Antelope Canyon guided tours are one hour and one and a half hours long if you choose the deluxe tour and not hurried through. Upper Antelope Canyon can be more crowded at times but still you get 50 minutes or more going through it. I have done both, at different times.
Here is the link to Ken's tours, the original and IMHO still the best Navajo tour guides for Lower Antelope Canyon. Our small group paid the $100 for the deluxe tour through Lower Antelope Canyon and on the deluxe tour you get a 1 1/2 hour tour, limited to a max of six people. We were a group of four photographers and everyone agreed it was totally worth the price. Our Ken's Navajo guide was superb and knew all the tips for us to get the best shots .
Ken's tours where you see they offer both the regular tour of one hour length, and the deluxe tour of one and a half hours length.
https://www.lowerantelope.com/Antelope Canyon is a bucket list place. Yes there are other slot canyons on public lands, but Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon have yielded several photographs that have gone for millions at auction. It is unique among Western slot canyons.
It is your choice, but for this award-winning pro of over 50 years in the business who has photographed all subjects around the world, Antelope Canyon, Upper and Lower were well worth the trips and the cost.
1-8 )A few shots from Lower Antelope Canyon with our small group of four on the Ken's Tours deluxe guided tour of 1 1/2 hours length
9-10) The first shot here was chosen as a Worldwide Photo of the Week by Sony Alpha Photographers in 2020. After our Navajo Guide took us through Upper Antelope Canyon, she also took us to an adjacent smaller slot canyon where I got these shots of Environmental Scientist Brooke Hildebrand.
Just dont go to either in the middle of the summer crush of tourists and enjoy. Well worth the price IMHO. I have gone there a few times away from the summer crowds, with no problems.
Cheers and best to you.
