I do have dual card slots, but I don't write to both at the same time. I tried that at the outset and found it too difficult to work with. I realize in controlled situations it might be a good idea, but it wasn't for me.
I write a raw to one (faster card) and JPEG fine to the other. That way I have a backup and a JPEG to instantly distribute via WiFi when I need to send it in real time, plus a backup. The only downside of this method is that it provides shorter bursts before the buffer fills as it’s writing to both cards simultaneously. The other option is to write raw - raw. Using either of these is as simple as a menu setting. To me, that’s more useful than setting for overflow as I can deal with a full card just by looking in the viewfinder and changing a card when necessary.
