I have a small one, about 2.5 to 3 inches. When I take it out, I bring a rubber washer, the kind that goes in the end of a garden hose. That way I can set the ball down with out fear of it rolling away. Frees up both hands for the camera.

Mine is about the size of an orange, slightly bigger than a tennis ball. I bought it on amazon.

This will give you some ideas on how you could use it.

I think his questions were about more than just what’s available. But this is what you do every time someone asks a question. Do you even understand how forums like this work?

I think these would be fun to shoot with so I’m looking for suggestions on manufacturers, size, etc..
Thanks in advance

These are fun, but not something I use all that often. I got the "lensball" brand, middle size and like it. Setting up your shot can be fussy and something of a learning experience, and you'll get better results if you're willing to do some post processing. Take the warnings about starting fires seriously - I set mine up on a dead tree stump that was somewhat punky and dry, on a sunny morning, and it started smoldering before I finished taking the shot! Made a christmas card year before last by taking normal shot of a round ball hanging from our tree, and superimposing a lensball shot over it. Have fun!

Definitely fun to experiment with, Mine is a 3" and yes they could be a little cumbersome to carry in the field.

I sure did…the same link you sent me…and that gave me some info. But part of my research includes asking for advice from people who may have had experience with these. I’ve gotten good advice from this group before so I’m giving it another shot.

Good for you pointing out that the comments from actual users/doers etc. can frequently be useful. Thanks for pointing that out for those who may not realize it.
