I sure did…the same link you sent me…and that gave me some info. But part of my research includes asking for advice from people who may have had experience with these. I’ve gotten good advice from this group before so I’m giving it another shot.

Hi Dannj,
I got a couple of these from Amazon.com. They did what I wanted, quality was fine, and were probably 1/2 the price of those at an antique shop. I believe I have a 4" and a 2.5 or 3". Keep in mind they are heavy!

And be careful using in sunlight, as they can project light into a heat source that can ignite!

Amazon seems to be a good source…the descriptions usually don’t mention weight but it does show up in reviews.

Yes, "fun" is the right word. There are almost limitless variations of what effects you can get with one of them.
