I am searching for a company that prints calendars using one’s own photos at a reasonable price. Bay photo is a little pricey. Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you and Happy New Year. Fran

I've been using MPIX for several years now. They offer several options, my favorite being ths 12" x 18" with spiral binding at the top. The photos are 12" x 9." It can be populated with common holidays, and you can add your own. I have added family birthdays and anniversaries, additional holidays (such as Yule and Succoth), full moons (e.g. Wolf Moon on January 6th), and just about anything else. (I generally use the first of each month as a caption for the month's photo).

That said, I'm not sure what you would accept as a reasonable price. The calendars I have described are beautiful. They run upwards of $25 each, depending on quantity. I generally order 15, and family members seem to appreciate them as Christmas gifts.

My brother in law uses shutter fly. Every year we get a great calendar with his pictures and a nicely done calendar. But I don't have any other information on it

I have used Printique for some years for calendars. They may not be the cheapest but the quality is excellent, the software is easy to figure out, and the delivery is fast. You can also customize various properties of the final product.

I have used iPhoto for years. Simply select photos from your Library, arrange them on the various template and publish with Motif. Cost for this year's family calendar was $29 plus shipping.

I've been using Photobooksamerica.com and found their pricing to be reasonable and quality to be quite good.

Have you contacted a Tech School that has a printing course? This would probably be the way to go if you want it done cheap!

I use snapfish to print mine. Since I print 25-30 each year, I order them in October or November when they have a sale.

Do you want cheap and crappy? Print one on your inkjet. Do you want excellence, shop around for the best price. There are many labs on the internet that do this work. You get what you pay for. Best of luck.

I have been printing calendars for the past 5 or 6 years. Of the major photo labs, I have used Mpix twice and Bay Photo with excellent results. The last two years I used my local Walgreens photo lab for my calendars. The cost was substantially less expensive at Walgreens than from Mpix and Bay Photo due to Walgreens discounted Holiday pricing, and I thought the quality of the prints was very good. The only downside I could see was that the paper Walgreens used for the calendar pages was not the same quality photo paper as used by the photo labs.

Other than that, overall, the finished product was very good, and I was satisfied with the calendars that I ordered, and family members that received the calendars liked them very much as well.
