I am searching for a company that prints calendars using one’s own photos at a reasonable price. Bay photo is a little pricey. Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you and Happy New Year. Fran

franbires!

A former employee has been sending us an 8 1/2x11" card stock calendar as a Christmas present for years and we retired and shut down our custom photo lab and studio business in 2008! Researching your query, they have been printed by Snapfish and they have been doing a great job. The calendars have both full-page images as well as multiple ones, using templates. The prices start at $24.95 each with a 65% discount which ends today! However, they also currently have a 70% sitewide discount on orders $50+ with code 70SITESNAP.

The past calendars and the current one look very good and I would not hesitate to order (I have no connection with the company!).

Be well! Ed

I have been printing calendars for the past 5 or 6 years. Of the major photo labs, I have used Mpix twice and Bay Photo with excellent results. The last two years I used my local Walgreens photo lab for my calendars. The cost was substantially less expensive at Walgreens than from Mpix and Bay Photo due to Walgreens discounted Holiday pricing, and I thought the quality of the prints was very good. The only downside I could see was that the paper Walgreens used for the calendar pages was not the same quality photo paper as used by the photo labs.

Other than that, overall, the finished product was very good, and I was satisfied with the calendars that I ordered, and family members that received the calendars liked them very much as well.

I agree. I've used Shutterfly in the past, but as a reseller, the prices have gotten too high for my market. I switched to Walgreens also for the past few years. Current pricing is $24.99 for a 12-month 8x10 (customizable with your own photos for the month and events on specific days). I wait until I get a 60% off coupon for calendars - which makes them $10 each - then print them for the next season for sale at a local art/craft show. The quality of the photos (glossy) is outstanding at our local store and they will redo if there are any issues. I've been very pleased with them over the past years, as have my customers.

There are three outstanding firms for calendars with personal pictures:

1. Shutterfly

2. Shutterfly

3. Shutterfly.

We have used Shutterfly for our Christmas-gift family pics calendar for years wiith great results. Always perfect, never a problem with product or shipping.
