Great set. If you ever do start shooting birds you'll get hooked. I would love to see some bird images done by you.
Thank you.
I start doing bird photography around 1970, with a Kodak Pocket Instamatic. LOL, not what one one consider a wildlife camera but it was what I could afford back then.
I have made several posts of bird photographs, this one for example.
You could be right about that. All I know for sure is that this one is a model 26 and the manufactures place shows a date of 1952.
My Dad owned a model 26 but I think the first self propelled combine was a model 21. Our neighbour had one and he and Dad combined together until Dad bought the 26. I think the 21 was from the late 40's.
My passion is sharing what I see so even though I am most interested in birds I do like to take photos of many other things. Here is a small sample of some of those other things.
What an excellent group ✨✨✨✨✨ If you're ever in the Chicago area, there is a place called Hauserman Orchids in Villa Park, one of our suburbs. They sell orchids, but you can go inside and shoot to your heart's content. It is spread out on four acres - and it is absolutely amazing 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿

Great images. The abandoned building is two geodesic domes connected with a breezeway. Domes are less expensive to construct (material) but a more labor intensive, so sometimes this is what happens.
