eBay purchase gone wrong.
Purchased camera $778.00
Shipped with tracking
Tracking email says delivered
Go outside not there
Go to post office,
Long story short delivered to my neighbor (per GPS on mail truck)
Trust my neighbor, he did get it, must have gotten porch pirated
eBay denied any claim, seller won't communicate
Post office said to file clam but need the sellers name and address to do so
Home owners needs a police report and has 500 deductible
Filed a claim with Mastercard see what happens
Ouch!
Seems like the perfect storm of he said...she said
Hope it works out for you. That's a lot of money to lose
The seller doesn't sound like a wonderful human being

As long as these district attorneys are soft on crime this will continue. I believe in King Hammubari's code an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth. In the case of stolen items off a porch when they are caught cut off one hand.
sorry, I never felt this way in the past but enough is enough.

And for everything else, public lashing or public hanging, whichever is appropriate

Yes, until consequences are too harsh to risk the action it will never end. Good luck with your resolution. I think the seller is out of the loop since it was properly shipped and arrived. One inconvenient solution is to pay for signature required delivery so someone has to receive and sign for whatever it is.
Check to see if Ebay has your camera for sale. And if so, by whom. Or check local pawn shops. The creeps need fast cash for their drugs.
It's gonna get worse, guys. You can count on it.

Hoping the seller had it insured but not their problem.
EBay is not in cause, shipping, and delivery is.
This is really misleading.
Seems to me the item wasn't delivered to you. Delivery company is at fault. Hopefully credit card company will take care of the problem.

Why would anyone buy anything off e-bay. It's a risk and not worth the hassle.
