Which is a better browser...

Microsoft Windows 10 or Google?
I haven't had an urge or need to update to Windows11. Lately I've been using the Windows browser and liking its performance. This is after being a dedicated Google browser user for the last 10 years or so. Anyhow, what are your experiences and preferences?
Has anyone here heard of Safari?

Mark, 'as an apple guy, I was surprised that no one had mentioned Apple's offering. hence my tongue in cheek sarcasm. Apparently my sarcasm was a bit too veiled. I'll have to do better (be more blatant) next time.

Most folks on UHH are Windows users. Plenty of Macs and Safari, but certainly outnumbered by Win users.
To each his own, right?

Like many above, I use Firefox almost exclusively. I don't use Google for search but Duck Duck Go, which is privacy oriented and does not keep your data. Another privacy search engine I use is Startpage.com.

Depends. I need Google Chrome in order to use Squadcast FM, a program to allow me to do remote high-quality interviews for broadcast use. Apparently Squadcast is built over Google technology. Ditto with voice input for Google Docs. Otherwise, Firefox.
I have been using Edge exclusively for several months. It is based on the Chromium engine, so it is similar in performance to Chrome. It is less of a resource hog. Prior to Edge, I used Firefox.

I use it 99% of the time. 1% Firefox when a site doesn't like Safari.
I can't remember whether they still have a Windows edition of Safari, but for a brief moment, over a decade ago, it was the fastest browser on Windows.
I used Netscape Navigator for years on Macs and PCs. I used to cringe when using Microsoft Explorer. It was our standard on work PCs. But most people had crippled computers — no optical drives, no Internet access, just Office and a few other goodies, mostly proprietary corporate apps.
Safari has been my goto Mac browser for the last 20 years.
After being a Firefox user for many years, I decided to try Google, Brave, etc but have been extremely happy with Win 11 and EDGE.
Now when EDGE first came out, I tried it and hated it.
Then they fixed it.
I use OPERA on occasion for opening my multiple yahoo email accounts.
I've been using Brave: it blocks all phishing and adds. Really makes the internet pleasant.

Yup, everything you say that Alexa can hear is now on a permanent google database.

Unless you use Opera 9, you are still using Chrom(e/ium). I used Opera way back when. They had their own rendering engine, but around v ~10 they dumped their engine and took up Chrome's.
