Which is a better browser...

Well it’s kind of a ridiculous question. Why ask about my opinion when I didn’t voice one?
Not really, you said you "can't stand it", isn't that an opinion?
"a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty."
You didn't say
why either.
Have to admit I'm eclectic: Based on sites I use I run between Edge, Firefox and Chrome -- various sites perform (or don't perform) differently on each. UHH runs well on Edge but a couple of sites I use regularly for business or personal don't like it as much so the go to either is Firefox or Chrome. And then there's the issues of cookies -- I keep in mind which browser has the coolie(s) to go with the work I'm doing.

That was after the fact. Not the post you responded to.
Bing is good if you are looking to buy something. Google's business model is to gather personal information, then sell it. I use Firefox, and if something doesn't work right, I'll use Vivaldi. Vivaldi, like Edge, uses the innards of Chrome, but with better security.

Probably should have stated it better...mostly what I'm interested in is the Edge search engine as I use Google a lot for searches and am always impressed with the speed and amount of info they come up with. I've been trying Edge on a laptop and have had good results so was thinking it had caught up with Google for speed and info...is this not the case??
Thanks for your answers Bill...appreciate!!
Edge is not the search engine. Bing is the MS search engine
Well, this thread got me searching for the best and safest search engine. Using Google.
I found one named Startpage. It says they license the search engine part from Google, but strip out all the data collection etc.
They claim to be the most private search engine of all. It is a small company in the Netherlands and I downloaded it to try it out. I also bookmarked the page where they have an uninstallation button to remove it from Chrome. Just in case, I know the Great Demon Murphy all too well.

Microsoft Windows 10 or Google?
I haven't had an urge or need to update to Windows11. Lately I've been using the Windows browser and liking its performance. This is after being a dedicated Google browser user for the last 10 years or so. Anyhow, what are your experiences and preferences?
I have two monitors. Chrome is my main go to. If I search at the bottom of Win 11(next to the Start logo), Bing automatically opens on my 2nd monitor. I also use Edge & Google Search.
They all work well for me.

I think you are asking, "Edge or Chrome?"
If I were using Windows on a regular basis, I would probably have both on my system. Some websites work best with one or the other (or Firefox).

I prefer Firefox also.
I use Safari on the Mac, but I also keep Firefox up to date for site compatibility. I never use Chrome. It is too much of a resource hog. Safari (Apple's browser) is the speed demon on Macs.
I used to have Chrome as my browser but replaced it with Edge due to the incredible amount of data Google collects on users. DuckDuckGo is the search engine I use.
