Glad the computer is starting to behave. In Photoshop you can pick the subject and just reduce the highlights on the bird. Two clicks. I personally think that they are great just the way they are. You do not capture two shots of birds having a feast often. Enjoy the week Johnny
Two great shots, Chief! I love that quizzical look in the first and the "Help me!!!" pose of the frog in the second!

Lightroom Classic and Photoshop via the Photographers Plan is only $10 a month…so it's like the price of 2 Starbucks coffees…and well worth it as toning down the water highlights is trivial with it. As good as your shots are and as much as you've spent on gear and going places to see cool stuff…it's well worth spending that little bit. If you're a macOS or iPad guy…then Apple's Photo apps provide some of the same although I don't use them since I have LR…and if you're a Windows guy there are equivalent cheap/free options there as well.

Thank you. I'm a Microsoft/Windows guy. It's not the money, and I don't drink coffee :-) I just don't intend to turn in to a computer graphics guy.
I'm a photographer. If it gets to the point that I get something that I really want and can't "fix" it, then I will dump it and go out and give it another try. Even if it's something I REALLY want.
Fortunately for me, a UHH friend took it upon himself to give it a try on his own, and I really liked the result.
Having said all that, in a moment of weakness a couple of years ago, I bought PaintShop Pro. I have only played with it a bit so far and haven't posted anything using it. But I might spend a little more time with it and see what happens.
I will still keep post processing to a bare minimum. It's the camera, NOT the computer for me.
Please don't think I'm giving you a hard time. I appreciate your thoughts. I don't object to serious post processing, I just choose not to participate.

Great set! Shots look good to me. Perhaps an eye on the histogram for a more appealing look. Thanx for sharing.
Thanks, Tim. I'll take a look at it!

Thanks, Johnny. So do I. No, not a usual photo day. We enjoyed it very much!
