I can’t help with ID but I do know that UFOs are dropping animal parts in the yards of people they are monitoring. It is sort of like animals marking their territory… and it may indicate their plans for you. If you would get dental impressions done then some future person will know it was you.

I’d bet $$ that is a deer. Do you have White-tailed deer in your area. The jawbone is about 40% gone. Size matters, with no scale it’s hard to tell. A moose and Elk have similar mandible but would be quite large. Same with domestic cattle.

My vet daughter thinks it a carnivore of some sort. Not enough of the jaw to make a definitive call.
