I just love the classic car photos that you post! Thank you!
I like this '62. The rims are just right and the stance is right (not lowered). I have not driven a C1 but have read that the ride and brakes do not measure up to the C5-C8 capabilities.
The '62 is a nice combination of the front end of the C1 styles and a transition to the sharper lines of the C2 bodies in the rearend of the model.
Great shot of one of my favorite Corvettes, Kim, along with the 67' and the new mid-engine Corvette.
Beautiful car… and blowing the picture up it looks like he did conversion to disk brakes.
Never owned a Corvette. Was considering buying a 63 split window coupe… new on lot (if memory serves a little over $4,700 and I had a connection in dealership) but my other life decisions precluded this purchase. Actually, I wasn’t sure I liked the look of that split window… wow… not everyone’s opinion now.

This is the year! With the Hard top or as a convertible, no corvette is better looking!
Agreed! '62 was always my favorite. I took my first ride in one in 1973. It was a 327 4speed. The owner was a guy named Gary Hopper. We were driving down the road about 35 miles per hour in 3rd. He downshifted into 2nd and stood on it. The car planted me in the seat. I was shocked at how much power that little red rocket ship had. Memories of a kid!
Love these old cars in your posts. In my opinion they will always look better with original or at least period correct wheels. Still a beauty.
