Any camera that works is a great camera. Just keep taking photos because everything in your world should be saved for everyone to see.

Unfortunately, I had to order a $6.00 USB cable for it. It seems to use a size that only Kodak cameras used.

Yea, that's a problem!!
I ordered a little Micro-USB to USB-C adapter.... As well as USB-A to USB-C cable.
Then there's the USB connector that looks like the front of a Toyota. Tom-Tom uses that.
I hope there is nothing after USB-C.

I have this camera it would fit in my pocket but the outfit doesn't. Take pretty good picture still but it takes almost a minute to write the raw file.

I saved several thousand dollars yesterday.

I stayed home and didn't shop online.

I guess you really need to pick your subjects then, like maybe an elephant reaching adulthood. That would give you enough time. This shot you took is first-class 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Interesting rig. And nice rendering of the flower arrangement.

They do make smaller tripods.

Yes, using this camera, I'm reminded of the slow start-up times of digital cameras in the old days. This Kodak takes five seconds to be ready, and it takes almost as long to save an image to the card. I think there is a way to keep it turned on but asleep, with the power button waking it up. What's odd is that the power button doesn't turn it on. I have to flip open the LCD.

Funny! I popped an SD card into the camera and took some pictures. There was nothing on the card. I checked the manual, and it has a limit of a 1GB card. I inserted a 512MB card, and it works fine.

That's because the camera only recognizes Fat16. Larger cards use Fat32 or ExFat.

It's just the camera limitation not so much the FAT16. FAT16 supports 2GB.

Yes, Kodak always seemed to put their own unique spin on things ! Mostly these things proved to be very GOOD - but not always ....

I have a similar old Sony pocket camera that I put inside a Ziplock bag and carry in my pocket when kayaking or doing something that will involve splashing.... It works great!
