Gotta love Les Nesman😂
"As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly..."
I still see sitcoms with people throwing turkeys out of high windows. Fortunately, natural turkeys can fly. They fly up into trees to sleep. That's quite a sight.
Speaking of WKRP, I remember a funny conversation. Les was having a conversation with a man named Steel. The man said, "I believe a man's name says a lot about him. Take me, for example. My name is Steel. What's your name?"
"Les."
"...God as my witness" you can see what people like to watch, it's either Les Nessman or Scarlett O'Hara.

Jerry is absolutely right! Here in southern New England (and a lot of the north east from what I've read), the wild turkey population is exploding, no natural predator's since you can't shoot them in most towns. I have a large group that regularly strut around the neighborhood. I live in a residential/suburban area, They do fly into the trees to sleep, they walk down the middle of the street, attack cars if they are honked at, they are generally considered an amusing and delightful nuisance in the area. It's only the white ones, bred for food that can't fly, probably by design.

Johnny Fever: "WKRP, the home of more music and Les Nesman."
Funniest episode of WKRP that I ever saw, thanks for the memory.
Years ago at work a guy named Les was leaving to a different company. Someone wrote on the whiteboard, "We'll miss you Les."
A few people followed that entry with, "and less" , "and less", "and less"
