Gorgeous shots that are a great stimulus for hunger 😯😯😯😯😯 FWIW: I never knew the Buddha had a lazy eye... 🙄 or so it looks.

Glad you liked these food shots, Joe! Interestingly, my wife and I were just discussing this "one-eyed" Buddha over lunch a moment ago. I don't really know the story behind this, whether this was intentional, or whether something went wrong with that statue. If any viewer has an opinion, or knows a fact, I would be interested to hear it!

Thanks Ken - it is just about supper time for you - who knows, maybe chicken is on the menu?!

There’s some pretty good-looking food there, Joe! And then there’s the sushi and the hog’s head . . . .

Great set - I always enjoy vicarious travel through UHH. I think that sushi is one of the foods I would not eat from a street vendor, although foods like satay are usually tasty and safe to eat.

Thank you John, yes there was a good variety of food offered there, something for everyone. Personally, I love sushi but would not eat it from a street vendor, even though the vegetable varieties would be quite safe. Hog's head - nah, but good for a conversation piece!

Wonderfully appetizing set Joe!! I never knew that smiling pigs go with sushi and all that chicken(love me some satay). Were they not just the heads I would have thought the pigs were smiling because nobody was serving pork!
Thanks for inspiring my breakfast appetite today!!
Rob

Thank you Steve for your kind comment. Yes, for me all kind of street food is very welcome for photography, food for my camera, but I very rarely eat any of it and certainly did not do so here. But the camera enjoyed the offerings!

Thanks Rob, yes what a juxtaposition of food offerings! Maybe the pigs were still smiling, possibly they had sushi as their last meal?
