Peak Design Slide for my gripped D500/Tamron 150-600mm G2... The best I've ever owned!! Around $65 USD.
Consider the PacSafe models. They are a bit stiffer than your usual strap but they are designed to be slash-proof, they have thin steel wires meshed inside. I feel very safe with mine on D810 and Sony RX10.

I just use an OP-TECH basic neck strap. I've been using a monopod recently and I carry the camera/lens over my shoulder mounted on this, using the neck strap as additional security.
I am using black rapid straps forever. Really like them.

OP/TECH Utility Strap-Sling - Padded Neoprene Camera Sling with Quick Disconnects for my D610 & D7000 with my large lenses - it’s comfortable and versatile…
Have Op-Tec steps on most of my cameras. Have worked very well & are reasonably priced.

My problem with Peak Design straps is the gripper part of the strap is on the outside part of the strap. My shoulder’s slope and the strap just easily slides off my shoulder.
Maybe im not understanding your problem. If grippy side is facing wrong way, why not unfasten it, turn it over and refasten? Ive never seen a camera strap that is not invertable.

You can EASILY set it up to be either way and/or you can easily flip it in use. Best of luck.

I like the sling type rather than two straps that always seem the be in the way, mostly when you are switching from landscape to portrait view. The sling type attaches to the mounting screw on the bottom of your camera and the strap allows the camera to slide up to your eye with no obstructions. The sling strap I have used for a few years is made by Case Logic and has always supported my cameras very well. The only downside that comes to mind would be a situation where you are going back and forth between handheld and tripod. For me this is a non-issue because I would use two cameras in that situation. I hope this is helpful.

I am currently using Peak Design for all my cameras. I used OpTech before that. the Pro Loop version for @ $ 20. BOTH work very well. I am now using a Black Rapid for my Dual strap, by I did use the OpTech dual strap for many years. All with heavy cameras. All can be found @ B&H. Best of luck.
I have never been happy with a camera swinging on a strap, therefore I use one of the Cotton Carrier products, the Skout or the belt carrier. They are so much more comfortable than a strap and both hands remain free. On a recent trip I took my Sony RX100 VII to conserve weight and used a Spider holster which was pretty much ideal for that size and configuration camera.

Hello. I know this has been discussed before but I can't find the thread. I just need a couple of links for pro camera straps that you guys like. Thank You
I use only Black Rapid straps. I have custom Arca base plates on all of my cameras, and use black rapid straps with Arca clamps (which also attach to my lenses that have Arca tripod collars). The straps have slide stops so I can limit how much the camera can shift in position as well as where it hangs.
I have removed all of the strap rings on my cameras; I don't like having anything flopping around near the controls, or that would interfere with my ability to grab and use the camera.
