Hey Wabbit. I just turned 75 in October. That was one of my 75th Birthday pictures, BUT I still feel 25 EVERY day and refuse to grow up. I have had the snow white hair since I was 19. People thought I bleached it for years, then they realized I was old at 19 and just decided to go backwards!

I love to meet people who brag about modern technology. I tell them when they can give me a printer that will take ANY piece of paper I feed into it, be it thick, thin, a little wrinkled, a lot wrinkled, dirty, clean, stacked crooked or whatever, I am interested, but until then, I don't want to hear it.

BTW I like HP printers but paper feed does seem to be their weakness. I had one that got a paper jam and after I dismantled half the machine and cleaned everything out, it still gave me a paper jam warning. I had one day left on the store take back policy and I used it. Now HP has it back.

I checked with the main company of brand, after brand, after brand and finally after a lot of research, I learned something.(see? old dogs CAN learn). I found out that most of the new printers will NOT print card stock because of the turn around in the machine, but the Epson WF-7510 will do it. Prints one side at a time but does it pretty fast. I bought one today and have already filled a bunch of orders with it. I love this thing!!!!

Is it still under warranty? If it is, you may be in luck. My last HP printer was sucking in 5+ sheets of papaer at a time.I called the "Help Desk" and was on the phone for over an hour. English was not one of the finer points for "Steven". I finally told him a small part fell off and he sent me a new printer minus the mother board.

Rubbing alcohol was mentioned. I have heard that scotch tape wrapped on the rollers and then taken off gives them a new life. I have never tried this. Anyone else??

Things these days are meant to be disposable. Within reason of course. The TV repairman went went the way of the milkman. I had a CD disc changer repaired once. The cost of the repair bill was just short of buying a new one.

Most electronics are obsolete when you purchase them new. The ones on the shelf are going to be replaced by a newer unit that was probably in R&D two years ago.

On the lighter side... There are about 358 shopping days until the next Black Friday. If you stand in line now you may be able to buy an upgraded printer for $99.99. (Limit 4 per store)

I'm sorry... Being a man, did you read the owners manual on how th clear a paper jam? I did but I can't read Chinese.
The yank and pull method always worked for me.

Hope I was of some help or at least put a smile on your face....Good Luck, Rodney
