I now have the world's worst paper jam ever seen by a printer. I've had some bad ones before, but I think the only way to reach this crumpled paper is with a hammer...maybe an ax. Any suggestions?

Do the paper-feed rollers still turn (spinning their wheels, so to speak)?

Those little rubber rollers have probably gotten smooth and slippery. Since there is little to lose: You might try dropping a few drops of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) down where the paper enters the tracks. Not alot, but all the way from left to right. Some of the alcohol (hopefully) will reach down to the rubber rollers and give them more "grip". Then the rollers may be able to "help you more" as you pull whatever paper you can reach from the front.
Just an idea. Like I said, not much to lose!

Thanks, I never thought about alcohol. Genius!!! My last thought before the hammer or ax was to unplug and spray water inside to dissolve the paper. then dry and try again, but alcohol dries itself.
I hate to replace it. I'd have to buy a cheaper one now. Pity party!!!

I forgot to mention, I can't reach any of the paper. Tried the alcohol.
Gonna put more. If I get a charge out of this, it's been nice!!!

  :lol:Yes, I hope you read some good results too. Thanks Danilo . In case anyone else asks, pliers, screwdriver, ice pick nail file or tweezers do not work and the ink blotches all over the nose and chin may be permanent.

Chef's knife won't get it either.

I've never had a drink and if my mother-in-law didn't make me take several in a row, I think I'm safe. On second thought..........
