I have issues with selecting paper size in LrC. Spent 2+ hrs with Adobe, problem not resolved. Epson washed their hands. SC P700 is my 3rd Epson printer using Mac and this has never appeared before, although the quality of image is excellent in a 5x7 cell on an A4 sheet.

Using Ps to print, no problems. I pay monthly.

I have been using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop for years and never had a problem with them - until now. When I open Lightroom on my Windows laptop, I get the intro screen with the picture of a figure apparently doing a flip. Then the program opens up to the work area, but the hourglass stays on and everything freezes. I can move the hourglass around, but it doesn't highlight anything and if I click on something, everything greys out and freezes and there is a message in the upper left corner that says, "Library Not Responding". Photoshop responds similarly. I have switched the libraries and created new ones. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the programs several times. I have checked my graphics drivers. I have gone through diagnostics on the computer. Everything checks out fine, but nothing solves the problem. Has anyone had a similar problem, and does anyone have the solution to it?
I have been using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop ... (show quote)

I spent an additional half hour with an Adobe rep today. Installed a new version of the graphics card driver and it appears to have solved the problems for now. PS is still acting a bit hinky, but it's working. LRC seems to be working well. Thank you all for your input and help. I just want to say to those who recommended abandoning Adobe for other editors, that just isn't an appropriate answer to a request for help. I have been using Adobe products for years and have invested a lot of time and effort into learning the programs, and have thousands of photos that are edited and catalogued with them. I understand your distaste for continually having to pay for them, but to me and probably 10's of thousands of other users, it is worth it for a number of reasons. Imagine if you had to change from the editing program you like. How would you take to that idea?

That was overlooked but us all. Sometimes when our software starts acting funny, intermittent, or not at all, it could will be outdated drivers, or or software has or grown our machine. You got horns again this time with a driver update. But it's sounds like you still have problems, to work out. Good luck.

I actually updated the driver with the Adobe rep a couple of days ago, but it didn't help. Today, the tech gave me a link to a different driver that didn't amend the driver, but fully removed and replaced it. That worked.

Thanks. That’s good to know for potential, future troubleshooting.
