Jones has already been denied the ability to file for bankruptcy as a way out of paying what the court has determined he owes to the families of his victims!

No... I did NOT parrot exactly what you said.

"If lies have monetary consequences the Slo Joe owes us each a ton of money. What Alex Jones did may have been despicable but this award is just ridiculous, those folks will never see that money because Jones does not have it to pay."

You erroneously claim the award is just ridiculous and that Jones doesn't have that kind of money to pay.
On top of that, you just had to equate Jones actions to those of your current president.

The issue has NOTHING to do with presidents - past, present or future. It has to do with an idiot extremist who perpetuated a LIE that HURT others deeply. His LIES stoked his believers into harassing the parents of those children who died at the hand of a deranged killer who should NEVER have had access to a gun. He made MILLIONS pushing that LIE over the airwaves of his extremist InfoWars podcast.

Because of people like him, people like YOU, are led off the deep end of reality because you believe and accept his BS.

Along with that, where did you get the brain cells to conclude that Alex Jones "clearly does not have the money"?

How do you know he does not have the money? (it is so clear after all).

Did you know he is fund raising from this? Do you think the goobers and marks are sending him Confederate money? Do you understand fraudulent transfer in bankruptcy court?

He may not pay the full amount of the award, but to say he does not have to pay is just ridiculous. Whatever assets he has, or whatever assets he may accumulate through his fund raising will be liquidated and distributed to his creditors. You really should think before you post.

And do yoou know what his lies did cause? The families were threatened and the graves of the murdered children were desecrated by tight wing wacko followers of Jones. All the money in the world would be an insufficient remedy for such poisonous lies. And BTW, people who are experts in CN law in theses matters (I am not) tell me that this award follows precisely what is allowed under the law of this state. I think I will take their word over yours.

Sorry. A "lie" like that did not harm those people that much to be compensated. What this ruling really did was harm the freedom of speech for all of us by at least that much.

First of all, it is not a ruling. It is a jury verdict. And you need to read at least some of the transcripts.

You did not hear the evidence. The jury did. Your opinion (like most of the Trump Town gibberish) means nothing. And you suffered no harm at all.
