There is no "Imaging Devices" or "Printers and Scanners" listed in Device Manager.

As I was typing this, I thought I'd try to print again. It said there was a problem, and the Epson Connection Checker would look into it. I had tried that before, and the checker froze indefinitely. Today, it said it found the problem and fixed it. Then it printed. Nothing changed between yesterday and today, but the printer prints. No one can tell me that these things aren't just having fun with us.

Your (almost) constant tech issues verifies spooks are the cause. Have you sprayed the environment recently? Of course your life without constant tech issues might just be boring.
Maybe have a conversation with the "spooks"? The Catskills are inundated with spooks. Washington Irving lives!

I've used several different brands of anti-ghost spray, but they build up an immunity. Everyone in the Catskills dreads Halloween. It's fun for the rest of the country, but it's scary for us.

Environmental sacrifices of location. But your deliveries are "always" on time, right? Have a Happy Halloween!

Sorry. That wasn't what I Googled. Funny.

I hated having to enter a password or PIN, and it took a long time to find a way to disable it. The link below offers lots of ideas, but it will take you a while to find one that works.

Thanks Jerry for the input.
After reading through all of that…..I think I will look for a way to reinstate my PIN login.
It was not too bad, by just entering the PIN, using the number key pad...plus if a thief runs off with my computer he will be locked out.
BTW-The laughter has subsided! For now…...
