Really? Why are the only people making those claims Trump and the brainwashed delusionaries who still swallow his bullshit without gagging. You can criticize Biden all you want, he's fair game. But you have to be batshit crazy to believe Trump.

Steve, I really don't understand why you identify Democrats with Autocracy when it's the Republicans who are attempting to restrict voting, take away women's rights, and dictate to people what they can do and who they can do it with.
If you didn't notice, it was Trump and his ilk that attempted and succeeded in some cases to restrict the rights of others.
I'm not saying you shouldn't fear autocracy, I'm just saying you should look at your own party before you criticize another.

Nobody is attempting to restrict anybody's right to vote. I guess we just expect the rest of the people to do it like we've been doing it all along. Unless you're old or have some disability, stand in line or go to early voting, which is available to all. Everybody can register and everybody can vote. Extended voting is even made available in the evenings for early voters. Next thing you know, people will be saying that Republicans are restricting peoples' right to grocery shop.

I hope that we (Republicans) would have the sense to move on. On the other hand, we Republicans are worried about a Democrat autocracy with freedom of speech and religion severely impaired. Dems are even willing to pack the Supreme Court in order to get the rulings they want, now that the balance on the court, after many years, no longer favors them. It doesn't matter that the recent abortion ruling is due to the fact that Roe v. Wade was bad law. It's because they want what they want and could get it as long as they had more liberal justices willing to read into the Constitution.

I agree 100% with this comment and your original post.

It is strange that liberals like Frank always accuse Trump of being an autocrat or a dictator, when in fact his actions and policies were the opposite. For instance, liberals begged him to proclaim draconian national orders for lock-downs and other coercive measures to deal with Covid, but Trump instead deferred to each State's governor to exercise his own power. Another example is the way Trump made himself available for press interviews just about anytime he wasn't doing something more important. People don't like his answers or his combatitiveness with the press, but at least he faced them and didn't run and hide like the current President. Besides, it was Barack Obama who spied on journalists and had more of them and press leakers arrested and jailed than the previous six or eight presidents combined. I'm not sure if Trump had any arrested at all, though I don't remember for sure.

Complaining about voter suppression is just laughable. Voting is so easy today that you don't even have to get out of your chair to vote. You can fill out the form in the comfort of your own home and give it to the mailman. And you are given a frigging month to do it! Just a couple of decades ago people had to show up in person on one day of the year. Now that was voter suppression!

Here's an excerpt from an article on NBC news regarding Sidney Powell's attempt to say the 2020 election was fraudulent:

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/sidney-powell-s-legal-defense-reasonable-people-wouldn-t-believe-n1261809

Ex-Trump attorney Sidney Powell's weekslong campaign to invalidate the results of the 2020 election was not based in fact, her lawyers said Monday.

“No reasonable person would conclude that the statements were truly statements of fact,” Powell's attorneys said in a court filing defending her against a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, the manufacturer of the election equipment she claimed was involved in the conspiracy to steal the election.

Okay, why don't you point out the specifics of where I am wrong. I'm very curious to know.

You have simply linked to a site that is supposedly fighting against voter suppression. That is not helpful. Why don't you give me the examples first hand? You surely must know the most egregious ones off the top of your head, no?

The science is settled! Trump can do no right and Biden can do no wrong. Every one knows that, every news paper and TV show will tell you just that. Don't waste your time reading and watching because deep down we all already know Biden is a superior human.
If you don't believe me just give him 4 more years in office and see how wonderful our world will become.
