Did you ever wonder why lots of large items come with two zipper pulls? It occurred to me a while ago as I was opening something. If you put the two pulls in the center, you don't have to guess where to look for them the next time. You can always go to the center, and you'll always be right the first time.

This reminds me of the switch from USB Micro to USB C. With the Micro, you always have to guess which side is up. With the C, you're always right.

It's probably so that you have a spare way to open the zipper if one of the pulls comes off and gets lost. I've experienced such a zipper pull failure.

Then you get an old fart like me with bad hands and half blind pulling both tabs at the same time. I hate that!

I am right handed and open from left to right, my wife is left handed and opens from right to left. I do not go to the middle and neither does she.

With two zipper pulls you can lock them together.

Dang, I'm glad you're not talking about pants.

My guess is he's talking about the new camera bag he told us he bought. He tells us everything.

I just bought a silver permanent marker pen and draw an arrow on the top side.

That's why the type C is better...goes in any way.

No doubt... BUT, if you still have the older version a silver marker pen helps. I am stuck with many older version USB cables on hard drives, etc.

Typically the advantages of two zippers is...time to open and close is halved as is effort.
And...you can lock the zippers together.

Being able to lock you zippers is really good for some bags. For example I have a small lock for my range bag just incase.

If you wear coveralls……the upper zipper is required to put them on. The lower zipper is used in the bathroom.

Twin pulls also allow for a lock to be easily added (assuming the pulls have holes in the end). :)
