Color, B&W, or Sepia

I'm going to break the mould and go for sepia; the reason being There is a lot happening in the image - particularly the vertical pier supports and coloured cray pots. visually it's a cluttered shot. I'm not being critical but I think that because of that, the colour seems to emphasis it more. B&W has a lot of contrasts because of the hugely varied subject matter (can of course be messed with in Photoshop). The sepia shot looks great and is quite mood provoking. The boats hull has obviously "blown out" slightly but that can obviously be corrected. To me the sepia image is evocative and a bit more timeless and more thoughtful. The others, while nice shots, don't impart that same sense of feeling.

Color would be my first choice, sepia would be my second choice. Great photo!

This photo was taken of the Ship To Shore Lobster Company located in Owls Head, Maine. I am curious as to which of the renditions you like. The stats are:
ISO 400, 18mm, f/18, at 1/125 sec.

Please download for full resolution. Critique and comments welcomed. 8-)

Thank you kindly Dixiegirl. 8-)

It depends so much on the scene. This one has great colour so use it.

As you know, the score means nothing. What matters is who agreed with me, and is therefore right.
