This photo was taken of the Ship To Shore Lobster Company located in Owls Head, Maine. I am curious as to which of the renditions you like. The stats are:
ISO 400, 18mm, f/18, at 1/125 sec.

Please download for full resolution. Critique and comments welcomed. 8-)

The presence of color plays a very key role for the essence of this image and location. The other treatments are OK; however, the color image says so much more.

With my preferences I could go color or B&W. Either is great

Personally I like the black and white version it tells the story better than the color.

The color would be better if the tide were in and there was more of a reflection of the boat on the water.

But with the tide out the black and white version works better with the tide out.

All of which is just my personal opinion.

Thank you for your opinion Dog Don and for taking a look. Interestingly, as I was walking about taking pictures (probably in the area for an hour or more), the tide starting coming in. So I was able to get a good reflection of the boat on the water. Another thread perhaps. 8-)
