Dear Jerry,
As I say,"I'm upright & taking nourishment" that's all that counts !
Will turn 79 next week. Am heading to Ecuador in October for bird photography.
80 last April. Both parents died at 80, so if I make it to next April, I figure I'll have beaten the family average.
In the meantime, still in good health, still able to do most of the things I've always enjoyed doing, and still making plans "for the future" and curious about what it will bring. It has been (and still is) a good life. When things stop being fun, I'll be ready to go; really don't want to hang around any longer than that. Don't think I'll feel any regrets that my run didn't last longer.
Having read through this thread, it occurs to me that we Hogs are overall a pretty optimistic group of old timers.

Will turn 75 in a few weeks starting my 76th revolution around the sun. My father made it to 93 but no such luck for my mother or 2 brothers. The big C got them early. My fingers are crossed hoping for my father's genes but doing well so far. Off to Santa Fe to celebrate my 75th soon.

Will be 76 in a few days… don’t feel a day over 200
When I was 13 our neighbor said if he had anything to do with it I would not make 21. I'm 51 years past that now and have 2 years past Prostate Cancer, 12 years past open heart Sur., 2 years past a double event in one night for my defibrillator bringing me back to life (diabetic coma) and am working on neuropathy in my legs. I'm going strong and my goal is 85. I think I'll get close. I just want to see how dumb some people can be. (L B S?)

Just turned 85, can't hear, can't see, can't remember, and I can't pee. But I feel great.

A worthy ambition indeed!
Be 75 on the 26th - still play golf and taking photos.
