Retired CPO Loc: Travel full time in an RV
 
A rare late morning wildlife drive. At least in the summer, but it was overcast most of the day so not too hot. The GBH with the turtle is known as Crooked Neck, well known by the regulars on the wildlife drive. First time we have seen a GBH with a Turtle! Yes, he did get it down, poor little Turtle!
I think the star of the show is the Merlin, female, I think. Best photos by far of a Merlin for us!

Thanks! No, upside down, right side up, dipped in water, dropped and shaken...I don't think he was happy. And after all that, then sliding down that gullet! What a way to go! As I've said before, I'm really glad GBH's aren't ten feet tall!!
