Both my hands were busy getting him out of a tree. I glad picking apples doesn’t pose the same problems.

Jerry, you really need to get out more.
I "get out" when I go to the garage to get something or do something.
This is typical. Although the "official" voltage gets read in the afternoon, I usually get a preview in the morning. Today, the meter konked out. I replaced the weak 9v battery, but when I switch it to 20v, it displays "1." When I check the battery, it stays on 1. I tried a different meter, and that showed higher voltage than yesterday. I want accurate results by using the same meter. I'm not giving up on this, though.
Below are the results so far. "Out" of the charger and left "In" it.

I think you have more than 1 Wasabi batteries so why don't you do a test with one in the unplug charger and one not in the charger and see which one lose power faster. Both should lose power as all batteries have some degree of self discharge.

I have two Wasabi EN-EL25 batteries and a dual charger. The test you mention is exactly what I was doing, but my multimeter stopped working. I used a different meter, but it gave higher readings, so I have to start over.
I just charged both of them, and they are both showing 8.58 on this meter.
This waiting for the results is getting pretty intense. I haven’t experienced this kind of anticipation since waiting for my first kid to be born.

I know! I'm sorry about that. I'm starting over from scratch!

This is like the moon landing. People all over the world on the edge of their seats in anticipation. Will we still be debating it in 50 years? And will the results be in this post? Or a new thread? Can't wait.
Better watch it, after you publish your results, there will likely still be nonbelievers that will claim your endeavor was fake, just like they think the moon landing was.
