I think you did a really good job. If you posted this in say the gallery, I don’t think anyone would have picked it up as a composite. As for the water moving water is not uniform in its flow.

Thank you very much, Frank!
Just to be clear, I would never intentionally attempt to deceive the public

I never took that is what you had in mind.

I know, I was just making a (little, very little) joke
The created artwork is really nice. It works because you started with a really nice image.
Really nice moonrise with reflection. Rare to see and not easy to do.

Thank you so much, Kathy!

Moon
set on my way to the grocery store one November morning
Thanks for the compliment, glad you enjoyed my fake reflection!
That is nice! You’ve made an excellent job of the reflection Linda. I reckon you should be moving to full-blooded Ps. Just think what you might produce!

I would produce a migraine headache
I very much appreciate your compliment re this picture, Dave, and your logical and well meaning advice. However, there is still much in PSE I can learn, should the mood arise. Keepin' it simple these days.
Thank you again!
A wonderful result, Linda! I always enjoy your creativity.
I enjoyed your processed night image. Very creative use of the reflection to emphasize the interesting pattern of branches. It does have that Halloween mood which you've brought out nicely with the moon and flying bird. As Don has already mentioned Flaming Pear's "Flood" program, I've used it on occasion to add ripples to water. Thanks too for your brusheasy tip. Bev
Stay cool, know you're getting the same heat wave we are, we're hitting 105 today in Central Oregon.
Beautiful Linda I really like the shot.

Real moonset and trees, fake reflection
Simple to do in PS Elements, or check YouTube for PS videos. Bird added with a brush from brusheezy.com
Suggestions and observations welcomed. I'm thinking the "motion blur" filter in PSE left the closest water flat - probably not good?
I Love it, Linda.
A beautiful sight at the close of the day . . . .
