Pretty new to all of this but I use a Fuji Fine Pix HS 20 and am really liking it. Lots for me to learn before moving on and up....

Thanks for joining us. That is one of the new Fuji models that I have read up on. Really nice from what I read. Enjoy.

dancepartner! Welcome to our forum! You'll go pretty far before you need anything better than your new Fuji - they're rated pretty good, and great to learn on - actually, the bridge cameras are nice because you've got all kinds of lenses in one, including a great macro lens built-in which will save you lots of money, not buying lenses!

I have taken many fine photos with a Fuji S7000 and a Fuji S9000. I still have the S9000 and use it occasionally. I believe it does just a little better with reds and purples than my Nikon D80 in certain situations. I have included a picture of a Day Lily taken with my S9000. It has been worked just a little with Paint Shop Pro. It prints beautifully at 300 dpi and 11 x 14 inches.

I have 3 fuji cameras. 2 s2 cameras and one s5. I have over 60,000 one each s2 and about 35000 shots on the s 5. All have worked well for me over the years with no issues.

That is wonderful. I have over 10,000 on my current one (over 4,000 just from fire department scenes and events) and it hasn't missed a beat. I have the S1500.

Started with Fuji S5000.
Than bought S100fs (now X-S1) knowingly as a Bridge camera. Four very satisfying years later (it's still in great shape) I crossed that bridge . .
Fuji X-Pro1

That is cool that you have the same camera that I have. (S1500) How do you like it? I love mine. Has been very rewarding for me with tons of great photos.

I learned one of my first lessons in photography with a Fuji. I bought an s8000fd and less than a month later the s8100fd came out (10 mp instead of 8). I wondered why Argos were selling mine so cheaply (d'oh!). Can't complain - for what it cost me it was a very capable camera.

That is neat. Fuji makes really nice cameras. I have an old Fuji bridge camera at home that takes an xD card so I don't use it but am using my S1500 right now which takes the SD card and I love it.
