Mine is a camera with a phone attached. LOL.

I am informed that I will soon be issued a very up to date phone with several lenses that is lauded as as terrific camera. I dont really care if it could even rival the R3 or the Z9 cuz its still a phone camera, which features miserable ergonomics that wreck the whole package.

I am happy to have my current ordinary old phone camera that I use as a photo sketch pad but unfortunately its very old and is physically falling apart.

The youtube headline is a clickbait one for sure, but what they go on to say is correct that Nikon will still make the models they already have, just no new DSLR models, and that Canon is doing the same.

Use what you have until they break and until there are no parts to fix them, that is what is already happening with some DSLR models, you cant get parts to repair them. That is the real start of DLSR extinction IMHO.

Cheers

The scariest moment is just before you buy a mirrorless camera.

The scariest Moment for Me is Taking a Great Shot with My Nikon D850 and Having the Lab Call Me and asking What Should they do With The Most Beautiful Image Of An Overdose Victim and They Don't know Which Side They Should Shoot of Her Due To Decomposition Of The Body. This is What Happens When You Have A Lab Tech Yelling, "What Should I Do"? The Body Has Decomposed So Much That I Could Not Even Let The Parents In To ID Her as It Was That Bad. Paul Maybe You Should Poke Some Fun At That One. They Live in the Windy City and You Could Run That Joke Past Them? Yes, Her Dad Is 6"5' and Weighs Around 250 and He Is All Muscle, Now That Would Qualify as "The Scariest Moment" I'am Pretty Sure. Happened Back In the 80's.And If That Doesn't Qualify, Then I do Not Know What Will. I bet it's not that Funny Now.

Now that’s just weird. Sad that you had to go there. What’s your point? At least you were the lucky one to have a D850 in the ‘80s. Nobody else was able to get one until almost 5 years ago.

I was referring to the D850 in Present times. I did not get the D850 until they were introduced to Market, What made You Think That I Had one during the 80's. I mean't 2018 and so You can Take that out of my Reply. Just think if I would have had the D850 during the 80's if I would have had the Greatest DSLR ever produced then. I have 2 D850's. I usually read my Posts before sending them, well I sure did not do this on that reply. Thank You for bringing that to my attention. Although, I think that most Manufacturers Have Mockups that probably do go about 5yrs. snd then they perfect their designs. If You look at Apple, it has been stated that their Product Line could be up to 10yrs in advance of what they sell today. It kind of makes sense that a Tech Company could stop and sell their latest Products and yet have a Line that would go 10yrs deep.

To all Concerned. I made a Reply Yesterday and I though that I punched in 2018. I did not mean to say that I had a D850 back in the 80's. I was brought in as a Consultant on this Case, I actually had to go to a Therapist for 4yrs.. And I feel that any of You that would have seen what I did, well let's just say that it was something that had the power to Overcome The Human Mind. I still have Nightmares today. And I was wrong to expect Paul or anyone else that read my reply. I was try to Multi-Task and I thought that I put 2018 instead of the 80's. I'am truly Sorry if I Offended Any Fell UHH'rs. I do have a very hard time with this case, as the Girl was My Confidential Informant and Someone Administered that Fatal Shot.
