Until genetics causes men to suddenly become monogamous, then the likelihood of males not wanting to impregnate as many females as possible is impossible. The male is programmed to ensure that his DNA survives, nothing so noble as ensuring the human race survives.

And as far as forcing bequeathment onto adult children, that's a pipe dream. Parents are required to support children only until the age of majority in the majority of cases, and as far as to whom the parents leave estates, adult children have no prior call on them. How about adult children making their own way?

Besides, most states have child support laws on the books.

Overturning Roe requires another law be passed that ensures men bear equal responsibility for pregnancies. Call it the "personal Responsibility Act." Using DNA as a verification, paternity for every embryo should be established and the male responsible obliged by law to support the woman and the child through the child's majority, includ- ing medical costs, living costs, education - all the costs a father normally assumes for his child. In addition, the child should have a full share of the father's estate if and when the father dies. If women cannot decide whether or not carry a child, fathers should not be able to decide whether or not to support the woman and the child. It's about time men assumed responsibility for the consequences of their pleasure. ROBERT VEITCH

Your logic is flawed. You assume the male has the better job, money, income etc. the opposite could be the case. She’s wealthy and he has no pot to … in.

Well if the law was passed that would probably mean the end of premarital sex in the US because men would have to take responsibility for their actions.

I absolutely believe the man should have as much responsibility as the mother in supporting that child. As far as him being responsible for supporting the mother no, but he should be equally as responsible for paying a baby sitter or day care center as the mother so the mother may be employed. They both made the baby and they both should be equally responsible for that child. Deadbeat dads are a real problem but should not be used as an excuse to abort fetuses.

WHAT IF THE WOMAN SAID ...NO ....

So you are going to force every man in the country to turn his DNA over to the government.... You have to be a liberal. Yes, the father should share in the responsibilities that accompany being a parent, you do however take things a bit too far. Laws already exist that accomplish this.

" Laws already exist that accomplish this." BS there myopic.

This is so true "BUT" unfortunately there are just too many "males" out there who do not fill the shoes of fathers/men I won't call them men because that fact.

That is exactly the problem. Millions of males but far fewer men.
