HOW TO REPAIR A LENS
Very interesting pictures. I certainly did NOT know that so many parts were involved! Thank you for posting!

OMG, What great shots. Did you build that?
No, on display at a local art gallery. Artist disassembles other common items, i.e. typewriter, microscope etc.
This is impressive...thank you for sharing
Very interesting, where is this art gallery, I would like to visit if in my area?

Keep that in mind the next time you complain about the cost of a new lens!

Austin Tx. Wally Workman gallery
Ever so interesting..! I've never had a problem taking things apart. My problem starts when I try to put something back together, however, when done I always have a good supply of extra parts to go into the junk drawer.😜

Nice and impressive. The Ford museum in Dearborn, MI did the same thing with a Model T, albeit a vertical.
How was it supported? I see the shadows of lines on the back wall, but don't see anything connected to the parts.
