Good "stuff" Stavros, I played the drums for 40 years but had to give it away with my spinal injuries...I still get the urge to have a bash though...
Ron.

Yeah, old injuries compounded by spinal stenosis is a b-tch. I'm looking at surgery number 3 and hoping to get lucky. Surprisingly I can sit to play for a couple hours but can't go grocery shopping without coasting on the cart.

Keep hanging tough my friend. It seems that life seldom gets easier, but giving up isn't an option. Folks like you keep me from feeling sorry for myself.

Nice setup! Do you record just for yourselves, or post on the web?

If you know App State, are you familiar with their music recording program? Some friends of my twins went there. They have a band known as Barefoot Modern, known for an eclectic blend of alternative rock, pop, grunge, country, and indie surprises. They have recorded several albums.

There are a couple of bass players you might find interesting. Australian Tal Wilkenfeld is known for her work with Jeff Beck, but she has worked with half the greats in rock and jazz over the years, and was one of the last people to play with Prince Rogers Nelson before he died. Most of their work is still in the can. But she has two of her own albums out, and has played on many other recordings and tours.

Kinga Glyk is from Poland. She has played many jazz festivals and is known all over Europe for her funky sound.

Right now, we are just recording for ourselves and the pure fun of it. We have burned 11 CD's worth of original material since February 2021. We get together every Friday afternoon at my home. You could describe our music as a kind of Avant Garde jazz rock fusion. Think King Crimson with little boundaries. Also, Miles Davis Bitches Brew and the like.

Thanks for the links. I really enjoyed Barefoot Modern. I'll check out the other ones too. I think I remember that bass player in a Jeff Beck video in a televised concert a few years ago.

Take Care
